As an actress, I desire to tell the stories of various people in a way that reveals the wonders of what all people go through in their lives, and the connections through compassion, empathy, and kindness. I am someone who has experienced the confusion and desolation of feeling unwelcome and unusual, as most people have in this world. Through theatre, I found a true place of belonging. A place where I can be my most authentic self, without limitations or judgment. This is the atmosphere I want to create for all those interest in any aspect of performance and art. More than anything, I want the outside world to see theatre-makers as strong-willed individuals, crafters of stories, and as people who make a difference in this world. Not just some silly puppets dancing and singing around without a care in the world. As individuals with stories to share. With dreams to share with the world. 

In my vocation, I use myself primarily. My body is my instrument, and it has been crafted and molded to provide a vessel for storytelling. Through my body, voice, imagination, and emotion, I can convey personality, truth, and connection of the character I am portraying. The concept of connection through theatre around the world influences me. The notion that all individuals are connected through music, storytelling, and dance is exciting and so very encouraging. Without theatre, I would have never created the meaningful relationships that I have crafted with my closest friends. I am inspired by the beauty of this earth and the stories people have to tell. These inspirations encourage me daily to learn more about others; to understand their struggles, their accomplishments, and their souls, which is essentially the very essence of theatrical performance! Through these inspirations and guidances, I am better equipped to eliminate any feeling of estrangement within the world of the stage. 

As I continue to flourish as an artist and as a person, I am committed to exploring the endless possibilities of human expression and connection through performance. Every unexplored opportunity and collaboration aids in bettering my understanding of what it truly means to connect – to reach beyond myself and other limitations to touch another person’s life through storytelling. I am expanding my work by engaging with show after show to deepen my diversity and authenticity, both onstage and beyond. In the months ahead, I plan to continue to explore the emotional truth of theatre and strive to create a space where performers and audiences alike can feel seen, understood, and inspired. Theatre is a living art – it breathes, evolves, and transforms through every heartbeat and moment on stage. My journey as an actress is not solely about performance, but about building an unbreakable bridge between all those interested in the performing arts. Throughout my journey, I remind all people that we are all storytellers at heart, and we are all capable of healing, building, and uniting together to awaken the human spirit.
